Emma Underwood - Filmmaker, musician, WRITER.

Emma Underwood is an award winning multi-disciplinary artist from Cincinnati, Ohio.

She grew up in a rusty monotone Mid-Western town, searching for beauty in an often closed minded environment, where social norms were in harsh conflict with the world she longed to lived in. 

Her work is the culmination of many years of experiments in underground music and art, thematically exploring rural queer identity and community building.   

She is inspired by strong community, and finds strength in human connection and  a sincere desire to learn, work, and collaborate - to tell stories that need to be told.
